To the Editor & all concerned:

As a true Orthodox Church follower, I have already paid US Dollar 100.00 within the last 6 months to Indian Orthodox Herald towards financial aid for its uninterrupted functioning.

However, it is a sad thing that many of its readers are either reading it for free or are entering it in order that their names may become popular!

One other group is the Jacobite church members who want to enter it with the sole intention to oppose the Orthodox church faithful.

Also, the Indian Orthodox Church, having 2 Bishops, with more than 100 churches and equal number of clergy in USA, also do not want to financially support this venture!

Under the circumstances, my sincere opinion is that if the Chief Editor find it difficult to continue the website due to financial problems, he may stop publishing it for ever!

Unfortunately there is little awareness about MEDIA in our Church. Those who are authored do not intend to promote this idea for reasons known to all.

We think only OFFICIAL MEDIA should speak!!!!!!!!!!!!
The official media of Indian Govt is GAZETTE, which is not a newspaper. ALL newspapers are owned by private groups. For example, Times of India is owned by Bennet & Coleman, which is owned by Jain family. The Hindu and Manorama are all owned by families.

What we should look at is the EDITORIAL CONTENT of the newspaper .

There is a magazine called GEORGIAN MIRROR published by an Orthodox Church in Ernakulam. If you take a look at the content you’ll find 0% news from their palli, 100% of the SABHA. THAT IS A SABHA magazine.. It is not for promoting their church.

DOES anyone know that MALANKARA SABHA is not owned by the CHURCH? IT IS OWNED by” .. viswasa paripalana smithy” WHO has authorized the to say they are official?.

THEY SAY THEY ARE SECULAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

read on!!!

a Sabha Masika (The Malankara Sabha – Monthly) is the official media of Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church of the East (The Indian Orthodox Church) since 1946.

The office block situated in the area of Church Headquarter – Devalokam, Kottayam. It is used to publish on every 10th of the month.

Due to it’s secular face, now it have a wide readership of over 75,000 worldwide and almost 50,000 online readers.
